Tellabration! Storytelling Concert

An annual (and international) event

Tellabration! is a worldwide benefit coordinated in the U.S. by the National Storytelling Network and held each year on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Since 2005 Wilmington Storytellers has held their annual Tellabration! in Arden, first at the Buzz Ware Village Center, then – as audiences grew – at the Gild Hall. The Library Gild is delighted to host this wonderful event, and we invite the public to gather ’round the fire after a Saturday night dinner for a selection of stories for all ages. Past concerts have included ancient myths, a powerful story about war, fairy tales from around the world, modern tales and songs. The program is always a surprise and the refreshments are always tasty. Tales begin at 7:30 p.m. with stories for the suitable for younger audiences; more “mature” tales come later in the program.  Donations at the door benefit the Arden Library. (Suggested donation: $2/person) Watch the Arden Club website each fall for specific date and time.
