December 15th Scholars Gild Discussion – 7:30 PM

Tuesday, December 15
Lower Arden Gild Hall
7:30 PM

“Forecasts for This Decade and the Next”

In the past few years, we’ve seen rising distrust in public institutions, unpopular wars, and lackluster economic growth. Why does it feel like we are repeating the 70’s? We may be experiencing a forty-year cultural cycle that goes back (at least) to the 1850’s and offers some useful insights into what to expect for the 2020’s and beyond.

Please join the Scholars Gild at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, December 15, when our discussion, lead by Mr. James (Jim) H. Lee, will look backwards to see what is coming in the future. This should be a very interesting and lively presentation and discussion.
Mr. Lee is the founder of Strategic Foresight Investments (StratFI); He is a Delaware-based investment advisor distinguished by his expertise in emerging technologies and social trends. In addition, he is a member of the Association of Professional Futurists.

The Scholars Gild discussions are held at 7:30 PM on the third Tuesday of the month (except July and August) in the lower Gild Hall. If you would like to receive email notifications and reminders, contact the Scholars Gild via Title your email “Scholars Gild Request” and include your name, comments, and request in the body of the email.
