At the Arden Club, we act, we dance, we sing. We read, cook, swim, and help our gardens grow. We host live music concerts and theatrical performances open to everyone. Our Gild Hall is located just north of Wilmington, Delaware in the utopian Arts and Crafts, Single-Tax, Garden-City community of Arden.

Come play with us! If you have taste, intelligence and good looks -- or can fake those qualities -- you can be a member. In other words, membership is open to anyone. Click here for details.

The Gild Hall is available for private rentals and is especially popular for weddings, receptions and parties. The Hall features an indoor stage, an outdoor "Moonlight Theater", and two large rooms downstairs. Click here for details about private rentals at Gild Hall.

THE ANNUAL ARDEN FAIR

Every year, the Arden Fair and Antiques Market is held the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. The next Fair will be held September 4, 2010, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Fair features handmade crafts (many of which are local), antiques, used books, plants, live music in the Shady Grove, children's rides, a variety of foods, an Art Show, Gild booths and more. Admission is free and free shuttle buses are available. The Arden Club is a non-profit organization with the proceeds from the Fair going towards the Arden Gild Hall where the public can come and see many concerts and shows and participate in many instructional programs available throughout the year. Click here for details.

Craft booth inquiries should be sent to 1501 Beech Lane, Ardencroft, DE 19810 or click here to send us an email.

DONATE A BRICK

You can still honor someone or amuse others with an engraved brick on the stage of the Moonlight Theater. Two lines of text, 15 characters and spaces per line, for $50. Most of the bricks have the donor's name on the first line and something about them on the second. Send your donation to BRICK PROJECT, 2401 Brae Road, Ardentown, DE 19810.
