THE POETS AND WRITERS GILD MEETS THE SECOND TUESDAY OF THE MONTH
AT 7PM IN THE ARDEN MEMORIAL LIBRARY

The ARDEN POETS AND WRITERS GILD was created to encourage, cultivate, and showcase original spoken word, both poems and stories.
The Poets and Writers Gild meets on THE SECOND TUESDAY of the month at 7:00pm for poetry readings and to discuss Gild business.
The purpose of the Gild:
1) to promote and educate the community about classic and modern poetry and stories, both written and spoken, and
2) to promote, inspire, motivate, and cultivate original spoken word poems and stories by providing a meeting venue for spoken word poets.
OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSEThe Arden Poetry Gild strives to change and improve our community by exploring the gifts of literature and expressing ourselves through our own writings. We find both unity and diversity by sharing the knowledge, intelligence and humor of past and contemporary writers. Our Gild expands our ability to integrate the world of written word into our lives and our community.
